There are two versions of The Zachman eBook: the Basic Edition and the Standard Multimedia Edition. The Basic Edition only includes the first major content subdivision with all of the related footnotes and figures, whereas the Standard Multimedia Edition includes the three major subdivisions, all related footnotes, figures, appendices, and about 20 several minute video clips of John Zachman responding to questions being posed by off-camera interviewers on topics linked to the written material. Payment is made by Visa or MasterCard and shipments are sent on each business day worldwide, by first class airmail. There is a $15 fee for shipping and handling. The Basic Edition may be upgraded to the Standard Multimedia Edition at later date for $174.75 US.

System Requirements:
Any Microsoft Windows platform (above 98SE), with Internet Explorer 6, Adobe Reader 6, a CD drive and brief internet connections for Registration and Validation.

Software Notes:
Software version III does not require any installation, but utilizes a load to memory and execute strategy and requires local system registry access to retain your option settings. Unlike previous versions, no Administrator privileges are required; however, individuals must self register their license on each machine used. You may access the content from either your CD drive or hard drive for enhanced performance without re-registering. Provision has been made for failed operating systems and machine upgrades by email contact. In some cases, you may register your second computer (laptop or desktop) for a nominal sum.

Internet Notes:
Please note the software requires that your machine be briefly connected to the Internet in order to Register and Validate your access rights. You must be connected from the machine where you use the material. Upon entering your identification on the Zachman website, an activation key will be sent instantly to your registered email address. Registration gives you access to the book content, release patches and content adjustments, plus you will be notified of future versions and subsequent Framework-based product offerings.

License Notes:
The Personal Use License conditions prohibit any content reproduction and use of the materials resulting in any commercial gain. However, a registered individual may create a copy of the entire CD and provide that to a recipient individual with the express intent of having that recipient register their own access rights.
