In response to massive industry request about who (or what) Zachman International authorizes to use The Zachman Famework™, or talk about with some level of certification, we are proud to announce the newly formalized and industry ratified Zachman Certified™ program.
Zachman International offers three distinct certifications (announced November 2005):
The Zachman Certified™ designation is given to people who have completed the necessary certification prerequisites. It is also given to methodologies and to tools that conform to the rigorous standards of The Zachman Framework for Enterprise Architecture™. Many organizations approach us and ask if a particular person is certified, which methodologies we support and which tools we support. Our intent is to offer the industry an unbiased, objective certification of these three areas: - The Zachman Certified™ - Enterprise Architect must complete the necessary education and pass a third-party examination by the ICCP in order to achieve certification. - The Zachman Certified™ - Methodology must be presented for evaluation by Zachman International and then objectively scored and results posted on this site. More details...

We will list the Zachman Certified™ - Enterprise Architects, Methodologies and Tools below for verification of status. Note, the methodologies listed below are currently in the certification process but are listed as "Authorized Pending Certification." Because of proliferated use (or abuse in some cases) of The Zachman Framework™, it is important to note that:
"If any person or company claims to do something with, or know something about The Zachman Framework™, or they claim to be Certified in The Zachman Framework™ and their name does not appear when searched on the Zachman International site here: Status Verification, then I would have to question the veracity of their claim and whether or not they actually know anything about the fundamental concepts embodied in The Zachman Framework™." - John A.
